Grief can feel isolating. It can come in waves, at unexpected moments, and often when you least feel prepared for it. While there is no “right” way to grieve, having the right support around you can make all the difference.

At Bereavement Care, we believe no one should have to navigate loss alone. That’s why we’re continuing to grow our local wellbeing groups across the communities we serve, creating safe, welcoming spaces for people to come together, share experiences, and find comfort in connection.

A space to talk, listen, and just be

Our wellbeing groups are designed to be informal, supportive, and open to anyone experiencing loss, whether recent or from years gone by. There’s no pressure to speak, no expectations to follow, and no judgement.

Some people come to share their story. Others come simply to listen. Many just find comfort in being around others who understand.

These sessions often include:

  • Gentle conversation and peer support
  • Guidance and reassurance from experienced facilitators
  • Small activities or prompts to help process thoughts and feelings
  • Occasional practical advice around coping with grief

Above all, they are spaces where you can take things at your own pace.

Support beyond the sessions

We understand that support doesn’t just happen in a room at a set time. That’s why our Facebook page is also a place where we share thoughtful, supportive content throughout the week.

From gentle reminders and coping techniques to reflections on grief and healing, you’ll find small moments of support that you can return to whenever you need them.

Whether it’s a difficult day or a quiet moment of reflection, knowing that support is just a click away can be reassuring.

You’re not alone in this

Grief looks different for everyone, but connection can be a powerful step forward. Our wellbeing groups and online community are here to support you, in whatever way feels right for you.

If you or someone you know could benefit from a little extra support, we warmly encourage you to join us.

Follow us on Facebook today and take that first step towards finding support, together.
